  1. My family friend Randy has made a difference in my life .Randy is dying from pancreatic cancer. He was supposed to be dead over a month ago but just his good spirit has kept him going. He has not taken any treatments for his disease because the radiation will only make him sicker and cause death to come faster since the cancer is so bad . When I am down and complain and say I hate my life I just see him and regret everything I say because I know he would love to know he could live until he is old . There is a 99 percent chance that he will die yet he still has a posative attitude. his motto is to live like you were dying and have no regrets because you never know when the end is here .In conclusion he has made a huge difference in my life and I hope it has in yours .

  2. Rosa Parks is a person that I truly admire. She stood for what she thought was right. She has made a big difference in this world. If it was not for her the African Americans would not have the rights that they have now. She was one of the first African Americans to go to an all white school. She also stood up for African American by sitting in a white perons seat on the bus. She was forced to move, and but would not. Rosa Parks has made one of the biggest impacts on this world.

  4. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once gave his most famous speech "i had a dream." Many people admire him for making a differene in the segregated world we used to live in. How would life be today if someone like Dr. King didn't speak up against segregation? It truly takes a man of courage to stand in front of a multitude and share his thoughts concerning life, liberty, equal rights, and the pursuit of happiness. Dr. King believed in something much greater than the human laws we live up to today. He acknowledged God for creating us all equal. It's Dr. King's strong perseverance for getting his message out that i admire. His reliance and trust in God is what i would love to replicate in my own life today.

I admire dave soo much because even though he is scared about having surgery, he loves me and my family every day. He has fought in the war and now loves everything he does. Dave always has a smile on his face, and will always be happy. Thats why i admire him soo much.

  8. My grandma has been a big influence in my life. She has always been there for me and I feel like I can talk to her about anything. She is definitely all about family. She has been through so much over the years, like raising two kids on her own and taking care of her husband when his health was in jeopardy. About a month ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer; she still continues to cook, clean, and do everything around the house. She never has a doubt in her mind about getting better and does everything she can for her family before worrying about herself. I know she will continue to fight until the cancer is gone and will do a great job at it as well. I am so grateful to have her in my life and get to be a part of hers.

  11. I think Lance Armstrong would be a significant inspiration for me and many others. When you think of an athlete, what comes to mind? The first things that probably come to mind are sports, entertainment, and there talented abilities. If these are the first things you think of, then how would athletes be significatn to you? If you look at athletes from a different perspective, their significance can be seen. From this point of view one can see that athletes are significant because they provide role models, and inspriation to me and many others. Lance has battled cancer multiple times and competed and won many triathlons across the world. He is a very good inspiration to me and many others.

Thanks to Lincoln the slaves families would have not been able to read or write. This is why Abraham Lincoln is a very good inspiration to me and other young Americans.

He was a member of many different organizations, and traveled all around the world. He was a war veteran, and a excellent role model to his grandchildren. Unfortunately, he passed away my freshman year. His sense of humor and charisma is missed by all his friends and family.

  18. I think Dirk Nowitzki has lived a very influential life. Growing up in Germany, Dirk's father was a very well known handball player. Dirk wanted to be a handball player just like his father but people discriminated him saying that he was too skinny and slow. Basketball was a growing sport espcially in America with Micheal Jordan and the U.S. olympic team called the "Dream Team". when Dirk was sixteen he went to play basketball in a local gym, where he was discovered as a player who could train to become a great player. He then went on to play in the NBA and became the 2011 World Champions with the Dallas Mavericks. He has inspired lots of kids out there who like to play basketball but have been discriminated and told they aren't good enough or their too small.

  19. My role model is Tupac Shakur. He was the most influencial person in my life. Although I have never met him before, I feel as if we are family. 2Pac is the name he is commonly worldwide known as. 2Pac's music not only has changed the game of hip-hop, but also changed the way billions of people view life. I am one of his biggest fans. I would consider myself to be his friend. 2Pac was a notorious icon that sold countless albums. His legacy has not let up since he first came into the spotlight. Even though Tupac is dead, he continues to help me through hard times and struggles. Tupac is there for me when I am down, and also there for me when I am happy. He is a legend because he does all this simply through his music. I am sure 2Pac would be an outstanding person to meet if he was still alive. I look up to Tupac Shakur.

  20. The person I believe has made a difference in my families life is my dad. My dad is the most important one in our family that mainly supports my families money needs. He spends countless hours driving for a truck company and transports things to the places they need to be. He works on weekends and during the week. If we did not have him, we would loose our house and our car, which we need for our everyday life. I honestly am very thankful to have such a great dad. Even when he wants to be home hanging out with us, he forces himself to get up every morning for us to get what we need in order to survive. I love my dad.

  22. My role model is my mommy. She used to do drugs and deal, but she has turned her entire life around. She had to work really hard to overcome the obsticals drugs put into her life. When my mom got through rehab, she became a completly different person. She is happy with life and her family, and she is the only person in my family that has been through college and got a degree. My mom has taught me that life can be really hard at times, and even if it takes awhile, you can overcome anything. It just takes a little hard work.

  23. My role model is my sister,Devynne. She has showed me what to do and not to do when it comes to alot of things. Devynne was always known at school for being friends with everyone. She is not like most people who can only be friends with one certain group of people, she was friends with all of them. Devynne was always the person that you would go and talk to if you needed advice or if you needed someone to just sit there and listen. My sister is the nicest person that I know. She is always there for me,even when she is going through something herself. My sister has made a huge impact on my brother and I. She is always reminding us to do good in school and to do the best of our ability in everything that we do. Not only has she made an impact on my brother and I and many people at school but she also did in our family. I have always looked up to her and always will.

  25. I think that great grandmother Mary Glenn has made a great influence in my life. She was pashionately religious and lived her life under god and always did the right thing. When ever someone was in need of help she would go and be there for them in a heartbeat, and never asked for anything in return. She was a hero of today. No she didn't jump over buildings or ran before a speeding train but she did do the little things that mattered the most. That is why I believe that my great grandmother made the most influence in my life.

  27. My role model is Kobe Bryant. He has influenced my life to play basketball to the best of my abilities. Looking at what he has done, theres is no reason why I can't do the same thing. The way he has changed the game is amazing. Basketball has never seen a player like him before. He has won multiple NBA Championships with the Los Angeles Lakers. He has been apart of the All-Star game for the longest time. I have tried to study his moves on the court from the crossover to a jumpshot. He has been involved with charities all around the country. Kobe has done a lot for the city of Los Angeles. He is an icon for multiple kids across the nation. I would love to meet him because I know we would get along just fine.

  29. People always idolize celebreties and athletes and say that they have made a difference in their life. We tend to forget about the people that are in our everyday life that actually impact our life. My dad for example, as a kid growing up in Mexico into a not so wealthy family. His family would struggle financially and had to relocate many times. he was a college dropout because there was no money to support his school. He crossed the border and moved to Texas were he and my mom began our family. Since then he has worked hard so that we would not go through the same as he did as a kid. He is a hard worker and if it weren't for him we would be nowhere. And i admire him for that

  30. I haven't ever read about a person who has truly inspired me, but one person who i admire to this day is my grandpa. He has been through many hardships in his life but always overcomes his obstacles. My grandpa has had cancer numerous times, a knee replacement at the age of seventy, and filed for bankruptcy when he was young. Throughout all this he managed to be a very succesful person through all his hard work. Today he still owns two-hundred head of cattle and runs a custom hay business at the age of seventy-five. I think we could all learn from him and admire his great work ethic.

  34. My dad has made a huge impact on my life. He was diagnosed with throat cancer last year and treated with chemotherapy and radiation. Through all the treatments and doctors visits, he never once gave up. If he would've given up, the cancer could've killed him, but instead he kept fighting and today is cancer free. He has taught me that no matter how bad things may seem, you should never give up.

  35. The person who has made a difference in my life is my dad. He has been through a lot in the past year and has been incredibly strong. He had a massive stroke and is recovering now. He has had nothing but a positive attitude through all of it and is willing to do whatever it takes to get better. He has taught me to look at life through a whole different perspective.

  36. My step-dad, Frank Andolino, is a person i greatly admire. Although he has been in my family for about seven years, he still has done more for than a real father should. Not only that, but he is a person to look up to. It amazes me to know of all the things he has accomplished in life. This man came from a family that had nothing but he worked his way to where he now owns his own company. It takes hard work and dedication to proceed such heights like he did. And thats what really inspires me to never give on something you greatly desire. For without my step-dad, i would have not thought twice on making my dreams come true.

  37. Jesus is a person that I worship and admire. He has impacted the entire world in many ways. He is the founder of christianity, a religion that has impacted the world for many centuries. He lived a sinless life, and did many great things for the less fortunate. He died on the cross for us. He fed thousands of people with two fish and five loaves of bread. He walked on water; now how many people can say they did that. Not only that but he turned water into wine, so he has to be a good guy.

  38. The person who has made a difference in my life today is my mom. Even though we have our differences, my mom is always there for me no matter what. She has showed me what to do and not to do when it comes to alot of things. I like to think of my mom as someone I could go to, to get advice. My mom is also the one to push me to make myself better and I'm thankful for that or I wouldn't be the person I am today.

  39. The person I truly admire is Martin Luther King because he stood up for what was right even when his life was put on the line for it. Sometimes its very hard for us to stand up for what we believe is right when everyone is against us for doing it. Martin Luther King was not only courageous but confident and determined in the things he thought were important. He inspired millions all over the world to live a life of equity and freedom by the actions he showed to others each day. Martin Luther King has inspired me not only to be courageous but to stand strong for what I believe are right even when others are against it.

My mom made a difference in my life. She was always there for me no matter how hard things would get.Sometimes i think she cares more about people than herself. She likes to help her friends and family when they need her, and most of them don't even return the favor. God will repay her one day for her troubles trying to help. She is the sweetest person ever that helps me with homework even though she does'nt understand it,she sits with me until im done and makes sure i get it finished. Little things like that makes me appreciate i have her in my life. She is making a difference in my world because i wish when i get older i can do all the stuff she did for me and other people. She does the little things first, and that means alot.

  41. My dad has influenced my life in many ways. He has taught me to work hard for what I want and do the best job I can do. He has made me mature by letting me make my own choices (right or wrong) and dealing with the consequences. In all my father has made me a better person and I am greatful for that.

  42. Shirley Temple, to me has made a great impact on my life. At a young age, I was constantly watching her series of movies. She taught me as a child the true meaning of passion and love that you can have for a certain talent. For her, it was the ability to act, dance, and sing on stage. As for me, I wasn't too sure. Growing up, I always loved watching her tap dance and perform in front of the crowds that she always had around her. Being interested in how fast she could move her feet and make sounds that all sounded with the beat of the music, allowed me to become curious for dance. After my mom finally discovered how focused I was in Shirley's love for performing, she enrolled me in dance classes. From there, I was instantly drawn into the art of dance and performing. Not only did I love to tap dance, but I also found a love in ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance. I truly believe that if it weren't for Shirley Temple and her true dedication to her career, I wouldn't be in love with performing on stage and I wouldn't stand where I do in my passion that I have now for dance.

  43. My role model would probably have to be my Grandpa. He always talks to me about my problems and he never criticizes the decisions I choose to make. He is the person who helped me get my first car! He also influenced me to get a job to start making my own money. He said that if I go to a small junior college like Blinn first and make excellent grades there, then he would pay for any university that I want no matter what the cost is. I love my Grandpa!! :)

  47. Many people have been able to have thier 15 minutes of fame. But only a few certain persons have been able to be known forever, thier legacy being forever immortalised in history. Martin Luthur King was one of these fine individuals. He not only rose up from the oppressions and segregations of his time, But he conqured his obsticales. He talked of freedom, of being together as a whole. Not hating someone because of the color of thier skin, or the nieghborhood in which they were raised. But judging them of the character of thier heart, and the pureness of thier soul. He was a magnificent speaker, and very inspirational writer and on the day that he was killed. We had lost a titan, a person whos soul who was close to pure as it could get, he made the world the way it was. For if it were not for him, this world would be the one of hatred, one of pure and utter disgust. One in which we could not be a "Land of the Free." For we would not be truely free, For the labors of our fathers and the labors of out grandfather would have all gone to waste. Because the endless cycle of hatred and fear would repeat for eternity.

  48. The person with the biggest impact on my life would be my mother. My mom has put up with me for all these years, since the day that my no god father left us. She lost her mom at a young age and she goes about her day as if she was the happiest woman alive. My mom has never gave a reason for my siblings and I to believe that we couldn't acomplish anything as long as we worked hard for it. I love my mom and she will always be the most important person in my life!

  49. Some people might have made a big impact in socity but no ones could ever be as big as Jesus's. He died on the cross and shed his blood just so that we could be free. Not many people in the world would have done that. People today are world are too selfish to even attempt that. His blood has covered the sins in The Lambs Book of Life are we have a way to become free from sin. This act of kindly and love has made my life amazing. The world would be completely different is he hadn't done this. In conclusion, Jesus's impact on the world has given our life purpose and meaning once again.

  50. I admire a lot of people, cause a lot of people have done a lot in the past years to change things in this world. Some I really truly admire is Rosa Parks; I Admire Rosa Parks because she had come along way, working as slave, makin the underground railroads, so the slaves can escape, but most of all standing up for what she thought or should I say knew what was right. Rosa Park stood up for herself on the bus full of white people, back in her days you probably wouldn't have met plenty people to have the guts like Rosa to do so. Rosa is the reason black people don't have to sit in the back of the bus anymore, thats why I truly admire Rosa Parks.

People around are neighborhood are asking for his help to fix the drywall in their house and he never refuses. He is very honest and an overall great person.

They have the best advice when I seem to be on the wrong path to wrong decisions. Their constant reminder of how I don't need help or approval of anyone to get to where I want to be, only with a little bit of support and hard work. They are parents and I do dislike them butting in in everything at times, but I know they have reasons I don't understnad yet. I admire Mom and Dad.

Now Rocky owns necklaces, hats, more than one shirt, and finally a pair of pants. Yes Rocky did move up in this world. You say Rocky hasnt done anything impressive. I say your wrong. 60. I would have to say that i admire my mom and that she has influenced my life. To say the least, my father wasnt a very good "husband". When my mom finally thought i was old enough to know about their marriage life back then, i couldnt believe all the stuff she had to go through. She had to be a single mom for the longest time, just trying to make way for kids. Even if she couldnt afford to feed all of us, she would feed us ,and she just wouldnt eat. She has always wanted whats best for me. She tells me when im wrong, and she commends me when im doing right. She is the strongest woman i have came to know, although i have never told her that. Everything she did, was for us. She lives for me and my little brother. She is now remarried to my stepdad, Brent. I hated all guys she was ever around, whether they were friends or she was dating. Brent stuck around and thank God that he did. I have a great life. Yes, every family has their problems, and Lord knows my family has theirs, but my mom is by my side to help me get through those problems. Me and her dont get along very well at times but I think it is because we are so much alike. I love her, forever and ever.

I dont know anyone that has the willingless to help people like she does. I want to follow in her footsteps and maybe one day will be the great role model that i think she is.

  62. The person that has made a big impact on my life is my sister Ashley. She has been given bad situations and made the best of each one. She was put through stuff when she was little, but the way she sees it is that it makes her a stronger and more cautious parent. Her kids are always her first priority and she would do anything for them. She gave up many things when she found out she was going to be having a kid. She is my role model by the way she cares for her family.

  64. A person who has made a difference in my life is Lindsey Lohan. She taught me that you can do drugs and disobey your parol. As consequences you only have to sit in jail for four hours, aftre being in a courtroom for for much longer. Her stupid actions changed my my viewings of a lot of things. Because of Lindsey I realized that your whole life can change in an instant and you can loose everything. I also realized that dumb decisions can lead to horriable consequences. Like who wants to spend hours in a courtroom? Not me!

  65. Who do I admire the most in my life? I don't even have to think twice on my answer, it would be my beautiful mother. She a single mom that has supported my brother and I through everything. My mom has recently been diagnosed with lymphatic cancer, last December, but a couple months ago she was granted with remission. She had many moments of weaknesses not being able to stand for more than 5 minutes or loosing breath when barely walking, but she had so many more moments of strength being able to get up and wake me up for school in time, cooking meals, helping me with my fair projects. I've never met a stronger person than her. I might of missed christmas last year but I couldn't ask for a better gift than my mom being healthy again.

  66. Mandela is an admirable person. For example, when he was released from prison he came out ready to forgive the people who put him in the prison. This shows that Mandela was a very forgiving person. This aslo shows that Mandela wanted to make peace with whites and have South Africa congregated. Furthermore, Mandela was a man ready to change South Africa forever. This shows that he was dedicated to congregating the nation so everybody will get along and stand togerher through hard times. This also shows that Mandela cared much for the appearence of South Africa and its people towards other nations. In conclusion, i would have to say that Mandela was a great man who taught the whites and blacks of South Africa how to respect and live with each other.

  67. My mother has made a great impact on my life. Everyday I look into the mirror and I see me resembling her. She is a very strong and courageous woman that is always on the right foot. My mother was sent into the ICU this past summer after getting a pacemaker and it made me wake up and look back on all of the things she has done. She always carries her head high and prepares me for all oncoming obstacles. Having to raise four needy and selfish children on her own was a huge impact on her life. Watching her carry on and deal with all lifes struggles has taught me how to handle more and more situations. I can honestly say that I would not know where I would be today without her.
